Construction notes
The four constructions differ mainly in how they carry weight. The structured laptop backpack has a reinforced back panel and a padded device sleeve; the roll-top distributes load through a wide top closure and takes a heavier hide; the slim commuter is built flat for transit; the daypack is the softest of the four and shows pull-up leather at its best, because the finish lightens exactly where the bag flexes.
Laptop sleeves are cut to your stated device, not to a generic size. Tell us the model and we pattern to it.
What you specify
- Device size the sleeve is cut for
- Strap width, padding density and whether a sternum strap or luggage pass-through is fitted
- Leather weight — heavier hides for roll-top and heritage constructions
- Hardware: zip brand and gauge, buckle type, D-ring finish
- Base protection — feet, a reinforced panel, or neither
