Questions buyers ask
The answers a sourcing team needs before the first email. If something is not here, ask and we will answer it the same way.
- Can I order your existing styles without developing my own?
- Yes. All twenty-eight styles on the wholesale page are ordered as shown, 100 pieces per style per colour, 45 to 60 days. Price list on request.
- Do you publish prices?
- No. Price lists go out by email within 48 hours of a request at revaticraft.com/price-list, for the categories and quantities named.
- Can I put my own brand on existing styles?
- Yes. Logo embossing, branded hardware, labels and packaging are quoted per order.
- What is the production lead time?
- 45 to 60 days from order confirmation to dispatch, on both the wholesale and the OEM route. Capacity is more than 10,000 units a month, so a 100-piece order is not queued behind a 20,000-piece one.
- What is your minimum order quantity?
- Our minimum is 100 pieces per style, per colourway. We do not sell single units or retail quantities. For programmes above 1,000 pieces we can phase delivery across multiple shipments.
- What is your monthly capacity?
- More than 10,000 units a month across bags, wallets and accessories.
- Are samples free?
- No. Samples are charged and are taken up against a confirmed order.
- Can you work from our tech pack?
- Yes. We manufacture OEM, ODM and private label to a supplied tech pack, technical drawing or reference sample.
- What are your payment terms?
- Samples and first orders are 100 per cent in advance against a proforma invoice. Quotations are valid for 30 days.
- Which Incoterms do you quote?
- Ex-works, FOB and CIF. Ex-works is the default on price sheets.
- Do you provide REACH test reports?
- Testing to REACH limits, including hexavalent chromium, can be arranged per shipment where your programme requires it. Ask at the quotation stage.
- Do you accept a social or ethical audit?
- Yes. We are audit-ready and host BSCI or SMETA audits at the buyer’s request.
- Do you do dropshipping or per-order fulfilment?
- No. Revati Craft is a bulk manufacturer and exporter. We do not ship single units or integrate with order-management systems.
- Where is your factory?
- Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Cutting, stitching, finishing and 100 per cent pre-shipment inspection are done in-house.
- How quickly do you quote?
- A costed quotation goes out within 48 hours of receiving a complete brief.
- What leathers do you work with?
- Full-grain and split genuine leather in cow, buffalo, goat, calf and sheep, in chrome, chrome-free and vegetable tannage, across eight finishes. We do not make vegan or synthetic leather goods.
