Questions buyers ask
The answers a sourcing team needs before the first email. If something is not here, ask and we will answer it the same way.
- What is your minimum order quantity?
- Our minimum is 100 pieces per style, per colourway. We do not sell single units or retail quantities. For programmes above 1,000 pieces we can phase delivery across multiple shipments.
- What is your monthly capacity?
- More than 10,000 units a month across bags, wallets and accessories.
- Are samples free?
- No. Sample cost is charged and is quoted once you send the tech pack and the quantity you need.
- Can you work from our tech pack?
- Yes. We manufacture OEM, ODM and private label to a supplied tech pack, technical drawing or reference sample.
- What are your payment terms?
- Samples and first orders are 100 per cent in advance against a proforma invoice. Quotations are valid for 30 days.
- Which Incoterms do you quote?
- Ex-works Kolkata, FOB and CIF. Ex-works Kolkata is the default on price sheets.
- Do you provide REACH test documentation?
- Yes. Leather is tested to REACH limits including hexavalent chromium below 3 mg/kg, and the test reports are supplied with the shipment.
- Do you accept a social or ethical audit?
- Yes. We are audit-ready and host BSCI or SMETA audits at the buyer’s request.
- Do you do dropshipping or per-order fulfilment?
- No. Revati Craft is a bulk manufacturer and exporter. We do not ship single units or integrate with order-management systems.
- Where is your factory?
- Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Cutting, stitching, finishing and 100 per cent pre-shipment inspection are done in-house.
- How quickly do you quote?
- A costed quotation goes out within 48 hours of receiving a complete brief.
